Patent Agent Can't Dodge Irish Co.'s Trade Secrets Suit
An Ohio federal judge ruled Wednesday that a patent agent can't escape claims by former client AmaTech Group Ltd., an Irish developer of technologies used in contactless payment cards, that he helped one of its competitors prosecute patent applications containing trade secrets he likely knew were pilfered from AmaTech.
