Shutterstock Seeks Sanctions For 'Ill-Advised' Copyright Suit
Shutterstock Inc. is aiming to get a law firm sanctioned for allegedly perpetuating a photographer's "ill-advised" copyright suit in New York federal court over an aerial nature image, arguing that the firm and photographer should be jointly liable for the platform's six-figure legal bill from the unsuccessful suit.

Shutterstock Beats Copyright Suit Over Aerial Image
A New York federal judge has let stock image provider Shutterstock Inc. out of a copyright suit lodged against it by a photographer over an image of a forest from an aerial viewpoint, ruling that the platform is immune from damages liability.
