An electrical subcontractor has not properly shown that it is entitled to payment under a bond for what it says was extra work, Liberty Mutual told a Maryland federal court, saying the subcontractor hasn't proven the work at issue is extra work.

Liberty Mutual must pay an electrical subcontractor under a payment bond for additional costs it incurred when a federal construction project experienced numerous changes and delays, the subcontractor told a Maryland federal court, saying it completed its work timely and in a workmanlike manner.
