A Michigan federal jury on Friday rejected trademark infringement claims from a decades-old business called The Custard Hut against a rival upstart that similarly sold soft-serve ice cream under the name The Custard Co. and also cleared the defendants on claims of cybersquatting related to the domain name custardhut.com.

Copycat Michigan Custard Online Site Claims Require A Jury
A Michigan federal judge said Tuesday that a jury will have to decide whether a frozen custard company squatted on a competitor's website and redirected traffic to its own, saying there were too many questions of fact for him to grant summary judgment.
