Ancestry.com Can't Arbitrate Minors' Genetic Data Claims
Ancestry.com cannot arbitrate claims that it illegally shared minors' genetic testing information with third parties, because the minors didn't sign the company's terms and because Ancestry couldn't prove the minors had access to the DNA test results, an Illinois federal judge has ruled.

Ill. Ancestry User Says Blackstone Deal Exposed Genetic Data
Genetic testing company Ancestry.com violated an Illinois law that bars business from disclosing genetic testing information without written permission when it was scooped up by The Blackstone Group in a $4.7 billion deal last year, according to a putative class action filed in federal court Friday.
