The Third Circuit said it will expedite several appeals centered on whether suits over violations of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act — spurred by companies allegedly hiding warranty information or limiting who can do repairs — belong in state or federal court.

Costco Can't Face Hidden-Warranty Class Claims In Fed. Court
A proposed class action claiming that Costco violated the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act by hiding manufacturers' warranties while trying to sell its own will be remanded to Pennsylvania state court, after a federal judge ruled that the Class Action Fairness Act doesn't override the earlier act.
