A Texas federal magistrate judge has recommended keeping alive a suit accusing the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of unlawfully enforcing the Gun Control Act by revoking firearms dealers' licenses for paperwork errors, saying a gun shop plausibly alleges it's an "object of an increased regulatory burden."

A Texas gun shop and its owner on Wednesday sued the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in federal court claiming the agency is unlawfully enforcing the Gun Control Act by revoking firearms dealers' licenses for paperwork errors and other minor violations.
