A Florida federal judge on Thursday tossed a proposed class action alleging Kraft Heinz Co. falsely advertises that its shells and cheese bowls are ready in 3½ minutes, saying the customer continued to buy the product even after finding out the bowls take longer to prepare.

The Kraft Heinz Co. was accused of fraud in Florida federal court on Friday, after a Miami-area consumer claimed that the Velveeta-brand shells and cheese bowls mislead consumers by claiming to be ready in 3 ½ minutes when they actually take longer to prepare.
