Clearcover Insurance Co. should be released from a trade secrets lawsuit brought by Geico, it told a Virginia federal court, saying it didn't misappropriate trade secrets by hiring former Geico employees.

Geico asked a Virginia federal court to speed up discovery and issue a preliminary injunction in its suit against an ex-employee it alleges stole confidential pricing information before going to work for a rival insurance company.
