An Ohio federal judge on Thursday accepted a magistrate judge's recommendation to deny Guardian Savings Bank's bid to toss a proposed class action accusing it of robocalling, agreeing that even a single call can amount to an actionable harm.

Ohio-based Guardian Savings Bank shouldn't be able to shed a proposed class action alleging it placed robocalls to a random individual in an apparent effort to reach a customer, a federal magistrate judge said Wednesday.
