    DOJ Reaches $9M Settlement With Bank Over Redlining Claim

    The U.S. Department of Justice announced Tuesday a $9 million settlement with Park National Bank that includes a $7.75 million investment to increase access to credit and add a branch and mortgage office in underrepresented communities in Columbus, Ohio, to resolve accusations that the bank used redlining against Black and Hispanic borrowers.
