    Trophy Maker's Fraud Suit Doesn't Belong in NC, Court Told

    An Illinois manufacturer of awards and trophies is urging a North Carolina federal judge to throw out a lawsuit alleging it took credit for creating an award a competitor designed and produced, saying in a Tuesday reply brief that it has no ties to establish jurisdiction in the state and that there's no basis for the complaint's fraud and deceptive practices claims.
