BCLP Can't Merge Breach Suit With Mondelez Actions
An Illinois federal judge agreed Thursday to consolidate three lawsuits accusing Mondelez Global LLC of failing to safeguard employees' personal information, which was compromised in a cyberattack targeting Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, but refused to include a similar case naming only the firm as a defendant.

Mondelez Global LLC workers have hit Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP with a proposed class action in Illinois federal court alleging the firm had inadequate security systems that allowed cybercriminals "unfettered access" to their personal information in a February attack.
