An insurer dropped its lawsuit against DoorDash in which it asserted that the food delivery service had no coverage for an underlying personal injury lawsuit involving one of its couriers, following the dismissal of the underlying suit.

DoorDash should have no coverage for an underlying personal injury lawsuit it is facing over an auto accident involving one of its couriers, the company's insurer told an Illinois federal court Thursday, maintaining that the courier was not completing a delivery when the accident occurred.
