Interstate Carrier Wants To Duck $1.4M Yacht Damage Claim
An interstate motor carrier accused of destroying a yacht during transport up the East Coast has asked a Connecticut federal judge to dismiss two claims against it, arguing that the plaintiff cannot pursue more than $1.4 million in damages because the causes of action in its lawsuit are not "viable."
