Md. Facility Operators Flouted WARN Act, Teamsters Say
The operators of a Maryland car distribution facility violated the state's WARN Act when they failed to provide advance written notice of a layoff of 60 employees this spring, a Teamsters local and one of the laid-off workers said in a suit filed in federal court Friday.
