2 Firms To Lead Verizon Investor Suit Over Lead Cables
A New Jersey federal judge has appointed Grant & Eisenhofer PA and Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check LLP as lead counsel in a class action against Verizon and its top brass, alleging they lied to investors about the company's efforts to use environmentally safe network cables and failed to disclose the existing network lines are covered in lead.

Verizon Hit With Investor Class Action Over Toxic Lead Cables
Verizon, its CEO and former chief financial officer have been hit with a proposed class action in New Jersey federal court by a Detroit retirement fund alleging Verizon and the individual defendants lied to investors about the company's efforts to use environmentally safe network cables and failed to disclose that the existing network of lines are covered in lead.
