A New York federal judge on Wednesday kicked cannabis marketing company Leafly's challenge of the state's new advertising rules back to state court, after regulators had attempted to move the matter away from a state judge who has issued unfavorable rulings against them.

New York cannabis regulators were hit with a new lawsuit Monday when marijuana e-commerce and marketing company Leafly accused them of enacting advertising regulations that would handicap the industry and were unsupported by the state's cannabis legalization law.
