Order on Motion to Reopen Case
PAPERLESS ORDER denying 10 Plaintiff's Motion to Reopen the Case. On June 16, 2016, the parties filed a Joint Stipulation to Stay Proceedings based on the parties' agreement that Plaintiff's claims were subject to mediation and arbitration. [ECF No. 8]. Thereafter, the Court issued an Order staying this action until the parties complete the mandatory dispute program. [ECF No. 9]. In the instant Motion, Plaintiff (now appearing pro se) seeks to reopen this case, but he does not indicate whether the parties completed the mandatory dispute program. According to Defendant, Plaintiff abandoned the program. [ECF No. 12]. Therefore, this case shall remain STAYED until the parties complete the mandatory dispute resolution program, as previously stipulated and ordered. Signed by Judge Darrin P. Gayles on 8/20/2026.
