Order on Motion for Extension of Time
ORDER. The court, finding that good cause exists, grants Defendant's consent motion to modify the scheduling order, ECF No. 27, and adopts the deadlines proposed therein. Accordingly, all discovery shall be completed on or before October 4, 2026, and all interim discovery deadlines hereby are incorporated by reference. All interim discovery deadlines may be amended by agreement of the parties without the court's approval provided those amendments do not delay the deadline for the completion of all discovery. As a result, the motion for extension of time at ECF No. 26 hereby is moot. Any motions for summary judgment shall be filed on or before November 9, 2026. The parties' Joint Trial Memorandum shall be filed on or before December 10, 2026, if no dispositive motions are filed, or within 45 days of the court's ruling on any dispositive motions. If no dispositive motions are filed, the parties should be prepared to proceed to trial within 45 days (January 25, 2026) of the filing of the Joint Trial Memorandum. Finally, the parties are reminded that they may directly contact the chambers of Judge Richardson if they believe a settlement conference (as referred by the undersigned at ECF Nos. 18-19 last October) would be fruitful. See ECF No. 23. It is so ordered. Signed by Judge Omar A. Williams on 6/25/2026. (KM)
