   TEXT ORDER --The Court is in receipt of Defendant's motion to (i) permit PHV counsel to appear in lieu of local counsel at the August 5, 2026 settlement conference, and (ii) allow Defendant's associate general counsel, Staci Rotman, to appear virtually. (ECF No. 88 ). First, it was unnecessary to file this request as a motion; a letter filed consistent with the undersigned judicial preferences would have been more than appropriate. The motion is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part. Although not the norm in this district, given the basis for local counsel's request to be excused, the request is GRANTED and PHV counsel Christopher Williams may appear at the settlement conference without local counsel. The request for Ms. Rotman to appear virtually, however, is DENIED. A representative of each Defendant with full settlement authority must appear IN PERSON for the conference as previously Ordered.
