Pretrial Conference Order on Motion in Limine
Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge William M. Ray, II: Pretrial Conference held on 6/29/2026. Court conducted a pretrial conference with counsel and discussed jury selection, trial procedures, exhibits, etc. Court then heard argument on pending motions and reserves ruling on Defendants Motion in Limine Other Similar Incidents [Doc. 199]. Plaintiff may file any reformed evidentiary presentation, as referenced at the hearing, that Plaintiff wishes to file by July 10, 2026. Defendant will have until July 21, 2026, to respond to such supplemental filing Plaintiff proffers. The Court will then enter a written ruling on the matter. The Court also deferred ruling on Defendants Motion in Limine Net Worth and Punitive in Opening [Doc. 200] and Defendants Brief on Trifurcation under O.C.G.A. § 51-12-15 [Doc. 193-11]. The Court denied Defendants Brief Regarding Instructing the Jury on Only One Theory of Liability [Doc. 193-11] and granted Defendants Amended Motion in Limine Money Paid to Ford by Experts [Doc. 201]. The Court deferred ruling on Defendants Motion in Limine What Ford Knew [Doc. 198] until the issues potentially come up at trial. Court discussed potential trial date in August and Plaintiff's counsel is to forward the information regarding a potential conflict to Chambers via email. The 201 Motion in Limine is GRANTED.
