FTC Chairman Says Review Of Past Mergers Is Critical

Law360, Washington (April 12, 2019, 10:00 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission's chairman said Friday that in order to know whether the agency's merger policies are on the right track, it must be willing to revisit previously approved mergers to judge how they affected consumers and whether any conditions imposed on the tie-ups were effective in preventing harm.
