Enbridge, Spectra Settle FTC’s Concerns Over $28B Merger

Law360, New York (February 16, 2017, 3:50 PM EST) -- The U.S. Federal Trade Commission said Thursday that Enbridge Inc. and Spectra Energy Corp. have agreed to settle charges that their proposed $28 billion merger would harm competition for pipeline transportation of natural gas in areas off the coast of Louisiana.
