New NLRB Chair Plans To Restore 'Balance' To Board

Law360 (June 6, 2018, 10:25 PM EDT) -- The National Labor Relations Board has “in recent years” cost workers jobs in its zeal to protect their rights, new board Chairman John Ring said Wednesday at a discussion in Manhattan.

Ring pledged to “balance” an agency he said has lately tilted too far in workers’ favor, telling attorneys and agency regional officials at Cornell University’s event on the Trump NLRB that by enacting worker protections “in the form of regulations and restrictions on business,” his predecessors may have hurt workers more than they helped....
