WellCare's $137M Medicaid Fraud Payout Clears Last Hurdle

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 6:45 PM EST) -- A whistleblower who has been holding up a $137.5 million payment from WellCare Health Plans Inc. to the U.S. government for fraud he helped to expose rescinded his objection to the settlement in Florida federal court Thursday, paving the way for its final approval.
