Phila. Mayor To Appeal $200M In Firefighter Raises

Law360, New York (July 31, 2012, 5:40 PM EDT) -- Philadelphia intends to challenge an arbitration award that granted 3 percent pay raises to the city’s firefighters, Mayor Michael Nutter announced Friday, claiming the $200 million in added expenses would place an unfair financial burden on the city.
