Delays Don't Change Veteran Benefit Rules, Fed. Circ. Finds

Law360, New York (November 13, 2012, 3:18 PM EST) -- Fiduciaries of deceased veterans cannot recover benefits accrued but not distributed before the veteran’s death, even if the distribution of those funds were caused by administrative delays, the Federal Circuit ruled Friday.
