Pa. Jury Awards Whistleblower $1.7M In Exec Drug-Use Suit

Law360, Philadelphia (March 25, 2013, 7:44 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania state jury on Friday awarded nearly $1.7 million to a New Jersey woman who claimed her former employer, a nonprofit human resources firm for ex-convicts, violated whistleblower protection laws when she was fired for reporting a manager’s suspected drug activity and violations of company policy.
