Water Availability Could Limit Oil Shale Industry: GAO

Law360, New York (November 30, 2010, 6:10 PM EST) -- Though oil shale deposits in the Rocky Mountain West are estimated to contain up to 3 trillion barrels of oil, a report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office said the size of the industry may become limited by water availability.
