Ore. Wind Project Blocked Over Sage-Grouse Concerns

Law360, New York (April 20, 2017, 5:33 PM EDT) -- An Oregon federal judge on Tuesday revoked the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s approval of a wind farm in the state, saying the agency failed to properly consider the project’s effects on the greater sage-grouse that live in the area.

The ruling came after the Ninth Circuit reversed and remanded U.S. District Judge Michael W. Mosman’s decision to dismiss environmentalists’ challenge of the project.
