TEXT ORDER: Defendants' request to file a motion to reopen discovery is withdrawn. An in-person settlement conference is scheduled for September 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The senior attorney in charge of the case and client(s) with full settlement authority, including the relevant insurance adjusters, shall appear in person at the Martin Luther King Building & U.S. Courthouse, 50 Walnut Street, Courtroom 4(d), Newark, New Jersey. On or before September 14, 2026, the parties shall submit confidential letters of five (5) pages or less to Chambers summarizing the relevant facts, legal disputes, status of the case, and their respective settlement positions. Please send the papers via email to jra_orders@njd.uscourts.gov. In the meantime, the Court expects the parties to engage in settlement discussions in an effort to resolve the matter without court intervention. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Jose R.
