MINUTE entry before the Honorable Jeffrey Cole:Defendant fails to appear. Status hearing held. Plaintiffs have informed the court both through a Status Report 50 and in court this morning that it obtained a default judgment from the Bankruptcy Court in the District of Columbia and that the court entered a non-dischargeable judgment for sum certain against the defendant. It thus appears that this case is, in effect, seeking the same ultimate relief granted by the DC Court to the plaintiffs and against the defendant. Accordingly, the plaintiffs' oral motion to dismiss the present case without prejudice is granted. Civil case terminated. Mailed notice (jms, ) (Entered: 02/21/2019)
