   MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Nancy J. Koppe on 9/17/2026. Pending before the Court is a stipulation to extend case management deadlines, Docket No. 23 , which is DENIED without prejudice. First, the stipulation does not provide the dates of discovery and the responses thereto. Second, the stipulation seeks relief based on what appears to be speculation as to what may be included in a future discovery response. Third, the stipulation does not identify the reasons why the discovery response is being provided on an extended timeframe. Fourth, the stipulation says the parties want a 60-day extension, but the new proposed deadline to amend or add parties is pushed out by 30 days. Fifth, the stipulation says the parties want the other case management deadlines extended accordingly, but they include a proposed schedule that does not actually change those deadlines. Hence, the stipulation has not meaningfully explained why good cause exists for this relief and, at any rate, the Court is unable to discern what new schedule it is that the parties propose. (Lastly, the parties are advised that the rules were modified years ago such that the governing rule is now Local Rule 26-3, not Local Rule 26-4.)
