MINUTES OF ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE WHY THE COURT SHOULD NOT STRIKE DEFENDANT'S ANSWER FOR FAILURE TO OBTAIN LOCAL COUNSEL (DKT. 32) Hearing held before Judge Michelle Williams Court: The matter is called. There is no appearance by defendant All In Love Apparel, Corp. ("Defendant"). The Court confers with Plaintiff's counsel regarding the status of the case. Since Defendant did not timely retain new local counsel and does not appear at the Order to Show Cause hearing, the Court hereby STRIKES Defendant's answer filed on June 5, 2025 (Dkt. 19). Plaintiff is directed to file an application requesting the entry of default pursuant to Rule 55 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and subsequently file a motion for default judgment or other appropriate dispositive motion. The Court sets an Order to Show Cause re Default of Defendant for hearing on August 21, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 6A.
