MINUTE entry before the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama: The criminal trial currently scheduled in June 2024 before this Court is still going forward, for now. However, there is still a possibility that trial will be vacated, which the Court will know by the morning of 4/3/2024. Therefore, the trial schedule in this case remains as-scheduled by minute entry of 1/11/2024 136 . However, to give the parties the maximum time to prepare in the event the criminal trial resolves, the Court sets a telephonic status hearing on 4/3/2024 at 2:30 p.m. to discuss potentially moving the trial to June. The call-in number is (888) 808-6929 and the access code is 5348076. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court. If the criminal trial remains set in June as of 4/2/2024, the Court will immediately inform the parties and strike the telephonic status hearing, and the 9/9/2024 trial date in this case will remain firm.
