Order on Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery
ORDER granting 88 : Despite the Court noting that further extensions of the discovery deadlines would be "unlikely absent extraordinary circumstances," Plaintiffs' seek a fifth extension of time to complete discovery because "Plaintiffs are still working diligently to review and analyze Defendants' document production, including voluminous medical records and thousands of MRI films." (ECF No. 88 at 2.) Plaintiffs' previous request was verbatim to the instant request. (ECF No. 85 at 2.) This application is reluctantly granted on consent.
Fact discovery shall be completed by 08/26/2026 with a status report certifying the close of fact discovery due that same day. Affirmative export reports are due 09/23/2026; rebuttal expert reports are due 10/21/2026. Depositions of experts shall be completed by 11/18/2026. All discovery shall be completed by 11/27/2026 with a joint status report certifying the close of all discovery due that same day. The parties shall take the first step in dispositive motion practice by 12/30/2026. Further extension requests will require the parties to appear in person to explain the delays.
