EXHIBIT(S) IN SUPPORT of 171 MOTION to Amend/Correct Sedgwick's Answer to Plaintiffs' Second Amended Complaint by Cross Defendant Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., Defendant Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. (Bordeau, John)
Order ~Util - Set Motion and R&R Deadlines/Hearings
ORDER Regarding 171 Defendant Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc.'s Motion to Amend to Assert a Crossclaim. D. Kan. Rule 15.1(a)(3) requires that parties moving to amend "must also attach a redlined version of the proposed amendment that shows all proposed changes to the pleading[.]" Defendant Sedgwick has not attached a redline version of its proposed amended pleading. Accordingly, the Court directs Defendant Sedgwick to file a redline copy of the proposed pleading on or before July 1, 2026. Any response briefs to the Motion are due on or before July 8, 2026, and are limited to eight double-spaced pages. Defendant Sedgwick's reply brief is due on or before July 13, 2026, and is limited to four double-spaced pages. The Court reminds all parties that declining to oppose an amended pleading does not foreclose a party from filing a subsequent dispositive motion aimed at the amended pleading. Signed by Magistrate Judge Rachel E. Schwartz on 6/29/2026. (This is a TEXT ENTRY ONLY. There is no.pdf document associated with this entry.)(bh)
