MINUTE entry before the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso: Boeing's motion 2978 for leave to file a motion for order limiting nonbeneficiary witness testimony is granted, despite the late date, as the Court is mindful of its responsibility to avoid wasting the jury's time with unnecessarily cumulative testimony. See Fed. R. Evid. 611(a)(2). However, the motion for order limiting nonbeneficiary witness testimony 2979 is denied because it is too vague to permit the Court to formulate a clear and reasonable pretrial ruling, due in part, apparently, to the parties' failure to exhaust efforts to resolve their dispute short of motion practice. The parties are directed to meet and confer about the issues raised in Boeing's motion, including the proper scope of the nonbeneficiary witness testimony and number of nonbeneficiary witnesses. If they cannot reach agreement, Boeing may file a motion of no more than five pages by 7/23/26. Plaintiff may file a response of no more than five pages by 7/27/26, and the Court will hear argument at the final pretrial conference. Notice mailed by Judge's staff (lf, ) (Entered: 07/15/2026)
