Order on Application for Permission to E-file
EO: On May 8, 2026, Defendant Tamara Buckwald ("Defendant Buckwald") filed an 81 Application for Permission to Participate in Electronic Filing ("Application"). After carefully reviewing the Application, the Court finds that Defendant Buckwald meets all the technical requirements for e-filing. The Court thus GRANTS the [ECF] Application.
The Court reminds Defendant Buckwald that, pursuant to Rule 81.1 of the Local Rules of Practice for the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, pro se litigants must "abide by all local, federal, and other applicable rules and/or statutes." LR81.1(a). "Sanctions, including but not limited to... dismissal with prejudice, may be imposed for failure to comply with the Local Rules." Id. The Court reserves the right to revoke Defendant Buckwald's e-filing privileges at any point. IT IS SO ORDERED. Signed by MAGISTRATE JUDGE KENNETH J. MANSFIELD on 05/12/2026. (kjm2)
