Minute Order Order on Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Elayna J. Youchah on 6/30/2026. By Law Clerk: S. Gorba.
Before the Court is the Stipulated Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order (ECF No. 13 ) through which the parties seek an initial discovery period of 210 days. However, the discovery plan fails to comply with Local Rule ("LR") 26-1 because the parties do not justify the need for the initial, extended discovery period requested. In the absence of argument, the Court finds there is nothing unusual or extraordinary about this case that warrants an initial discovery period of more than 180 days.
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Stipulated Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order (ECF No. 13 ) is DENIED.
IT IS FURTHER ORDRED that the parties must submit a revised Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order setting forth the standard 180 day discovery period within 14 days of the date of the Order.
