Text Only Order
** TEXT ONLY ORDER ** The parties have moved for approval of a proposed settlement agreement that resolves plaintiff's FLSA claims. Dkt. 53 . They say that they have already stipulated to dismissal of plaintiff's state-law claims under Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(a)(1)(A)(ii). Dkt. 58 . But Rule 41 only allows dismissal of an entire action in this way, not individual claims. So the court will construe the parties' motion for approval to include dismissal of the entire action. Because the proposed settlement agreement appears fair, reasonable, and adequate in light of the claims and defenses raised in this action, and because plaintiff's counsel's fee request appears reasonable, the parties' motion for approval is GRANTED and this case is dismissed with prejudice. The clerk of court is directed to close this case. Signed by District Judge James D. Peterson on 10/31/2019. (rks)
