Deals Rumor Mill: Sinochem, Constellation, Delivery Hero

By Benjamin Horney (May 23, 2017, 5:11 PM EDT) -- Chinese state-owned Sinochem is in talks to merge with China's largest chemical producer, China National Chemical Corp., or ChemChina, Reuters reported on Tuesday. According to the report, the two Chinese companies could announce an agreement before the calendar turns to 2018, and such a merger would create a single entity worth about $120 billion. Talks between the two sides have "accelerated" in recent weeks after regulators cleared ChemChina's $43 billion takeover of Swiss agrochemical company Syngenta AG, the report said. That deal was approved by roughly 82 percent of Syngenta shareholders earlier this month....
