Insurers, Container Co. Get More Time To Settle $30M Dispute

Law360, London (July 13, 2018, 2:27 PM BST) -- The High Court in London has adjourned a $30 million shipping insurance dispute until September to allow the two sides to mediate outside the courtroom after the insurers fighting the suit said they did not understand the shipping container company's case against them.

Justice Stephen Phillips granted more time for members of the Bermuda-based Textainer group of shipping container providers to settle with eight insurance companies, including International General Insurance Co. (U.K.) Ltd. and United States Fire Insurance Co.
