Deals Rumor Mill: Rothesay Life, Apollo, Apax Partners

Citing a Sky News article, the outlet reported that such a deal could derail the reinsurer's plans to take its ReAssure unit public this year. The U.K. insurer reached out about the unit weeks ago, according to the report, which comes after Swiss Re said in mid-December that it was still exploring an initial public offering for ReAssure and had tapped a new CEO for the unit....
