Pipeline Maker Settles $2M Suit Over Faulty Gas Line

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 6:41 PM EST) -- A trio of companies working on a natural gas extraction project in Louisiana settled their lawsuit against pipeline manufacturer PolyFlow Inc. for allegedly providing faulty equipment for the venture, but their case against PolyFlow's insurer continues, according to court documents filed Friday.

The terms of PolyFlow's settlement with Gulf Production Co. Inc., B&L Exploration LLC, and Biloxi Marsh Lands Corp. are confidential, U.S. District Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle said in an order of partial dismissal filed Friday.
