Fed. Circ. Bats Down Sunflower Seed Co.'s Duty-Free Bid

Law360 (April 11, 2018, 8:44 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Wednesday that while imported sunflower seeds could have qualified for duty-free treatment, U.S. Customs and Border Protection was right to use a more detailed tariff classification for the goods, ultimately subjecting them to a 17.9 percent tariff at the border.
