SEC Subpoenas Halliburton Over FCPA Probe

Law360, New York (February 17, 2012, 8:55 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has hit Halliburton Co. with a subpoena related to a company investigation into its Angolan operations for possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the energy services giant disclosed Thursday.

Halliburton said in an SEC filing that it is producing all documents relevant to the information request. The company added that one of its employees has also received a subpoena from the SEC on the matter.
