Tar Sands Oil Imports Should Be Taxed Like Crude, Dems Say

Law360, New York (February 15, 2013, 6:00 PM EST) -- House Democrats on Friday reintroduced a bill that would subject imports of tar sands oil to the same tax applied to traditional crude shipped into the country, calling it a commonsense move to shore up federal funding for oil spill response.
