High Court Declines Sawblade Tariff Appeal

Law360, Washington (March 20, 2017, 6:45 PM EDT) -- The Supreme Court on Monday denied a South Korean industrial tools company’s challenge to a U.S. Department of Commerce decision leaving in place existing anti-dumping duties established through a now-abandoned calculation method.

The high court denied a petition for a writ of certiorari from Hyosung D&P Co. in its appeal of a 2015 unanimous Federal Circuit panel decision upholding a tariff on diamond sawblades imported from South Korea.
